Congress on Engineering Education (WCEE2015)
On behalf of the
Organizing committee, I cordially invite you to attend and submit a
paper to the 10th world Congress on Engineering Education that will
be held in Beirut, Lebanon on the 29th and 30th of October 2015.
The theme of the
Engineering Education for Sustainable Development
This Congress is
organized by the World Federation of Engineering Organizations -
Committee of Education in Engineering (WFEO-CEIE) in collaboration
with the Federation of Lebanese Engineers (FLE), the Federation of
Arab Engineers (FAE), the American Society of Engineering Education
(ASEE), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Dr. Paul Boulos Ph.D., Dist.M.ASCE, is president of Innovyze, a leading global innovator of business analytics software and technologies for smart wet infrastructure. He is a Diplomate (by Eminence) of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers (BCEEM) and was awarded Honorary Diplomate status (Hon.D.WRE) by the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE) as well as Distinguished Diplomate status in Navigation Engineering (Dist.D.NE) by the Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port & Navigation Engineers (ACOPNE), both academies’ top honors. He was also elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE), the highest professional distinction accorded to an engineer)
Kamel Hawwash PhD., MAPM, FHEA. He is currently the
President of SEFI (www.sefi.be). Dr. Hawwash is a Member of
the European Engineering Deans Council, Convenor of MSc in
Construction Management. Currently he is a Professor at
College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, University of
Greenwood PhD., HonFIEAust, FIET, Sen Mem IEEE, CPEng (Rtd),
Eng Exec. Dr Peter Greenwood is an Executive Vice-President
of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations. He has
had a long and varied career in engineering. Dr. Greenwood
was the President of IEA, Dr Greenwood was President of
Engineers Australia in 2002 and 2003 and Chair of the
Washington Accord from 2002 to 2007.
Ahmad Jammal Ph.D. - The director general of Higher
Education in Lebanon. He is the Vice President of the
council of higher education; Dr. Jammal is a professor of
power electronics and electric machines at the Lebanese
University. He is currently the President of the Technical
committee and the equivalence committee at the Ministry of
Higher Education in Lebanon
DIRK BOCHAR, MA, MBA Dr. Bochar is currently the Vice
President ENAEE, Secretary General of FEANI, Brussels, he
has been General Manager of Europe Net, the European
automobile association for HGVs for the past nine years.
Mohsen PhD., is a Professor and Chair of the Civil and
Environmental Engineering Department at the University of
Louisville, Kentucky. He served as President of the American
Society for Engineering Education during 2009-10 and on the
regional Board of Direction of the American Society of Civil
Engineers representing Kentucky during 2009-12. Dr. J.P.
Mohsen was Announced as the 2014 ASCE Computing in Civil
Engineering Award Recipient
